Keriann is a senior at Salem State College with majors in Elementary Education and Sociology and a minor in Dance. She is a dancer and a choreographer for SSC's Repertory Dance Theatre and is currently serving as RDT's President. Keriann started dancing at age 2 1/2 and for the last 17 years has been under the direction of Paula Terenzi. She has been a competitive dancer for 13 years, as both a member of the competition team and as a soloist; during this time she has enjoyed dancing in Las Vegas and at Disney. She has been an assistant at the Dance Complex for 7 years and hold a special place in her heart for the Saturday classes. In 2002 she completed the sixth and final level of the National Medal Testing Program in tap and the following summer she graduated from the Dance Teachers' Club of Boston's dance teacher training program. Most recently, Keriann was crowned "Miss Commonwealth 2007" and placed in the Top-Ten in the Miss Massachusetts Scholarship Pageant, an official prelimenary to Miss America. "Miss Keriann" is looking forward to her fourth year as a faculty member at the Dance Complex!
